Improv with Mark – Shortform Level One

Looking to step out of your comfort zone, develop your speaking skills, or just wanna have a lot of FUN??? Well, you’re in luck! Up Front has partnered with Improv with Mark to bring you an introductory, six-week intensive to improv comedy! Play games and learn skills to think on your feet and react fearlessly, in classes led by improv veteran Mark Hale Jr.

About your Instructor:

Mark Hale Jr. is a comedian, actor, singer, rapper and founder of Improv with Mark. A Cincinnati native, Mark has studied Improv for more than twenty years, performing with Ohio State’s 8th Floor Improv all around the country, and going on to coach and perform with some of Columbus’ most successful improv groups. In his studies, Mark has gotten the chance to receive training from members of Second City, Improv Olympic, The Upright Citizens Brigade, and the Chemically Imbalanced Theatre. Mark can be seen performing with indy team Uncle Fun, and FFN: Columbus’ oldest and longest-running improv group, as well as in theatre productions throughout the city.

The six week course will culminate in a final performance at Up Front for friends family and more!
